Egyptians were strongly influenced by tradition, and they did not question the beliefs handed down from previous generations. They also didn't desire change, and worshiped rituals related to death & afterlife. They were very religious, and devoted their life to their Gods & Pharaohs. They valued religion to the point that they integrated religion into their everyday life, including government, economic systems, and ways of life. Egyptians had reverence for most things in nature, in which most animals, including cats, bulls, fish, jackals, rams, boars, frogs, and lions, were sacred. The serpent represents great power, which the the reason why it is the symbol for Egypt's long line of Pharaohs. Ra, the God that created heaven, earth, and all creatures, is the father of all Gods.
